    Hey all,

I have a 15Mb internet connection (no contention). My Acer One seems to only download at a maximum 245KB/s - is this a limitation of the SSD write speeds or can I tweak it to get faster downloads?

My desktop gets the full 15Mb. :?

    I'm getting 2kb/sec at the moment. And that's not a typo. :D

We only get around 40-50kb/sec on our notebooks, but the average 3-5 I've been getting all day is bad. Tooks hours to download iTunes. Search 'wireless runs slow' as there is a thread with some fixes, which hasn't helped me out as yet, but might help you.

Ouch. My connection is currently wired, haven't tried wireless yet.

The SSD is not the issue. You may wish to specify if you are using the wireless NIC or the Realtec Ethernet NIC (im assuming wireless, you should try the ethernet one to see if its faster). Also you should try to transfer files on your local network (if you have one)and see if speeds are better.
