OK, My brother hated Linux on his AAO-110-Aw, so we have managed to successfully install Windows XP Professional OS. For some reason, it will only display in 800 x 600. I have an AAO-150-Bb, with XP Home, but i have the option to change between 1024 x 600 or 800 x 600. Can anyone help us, so we can change his to 1024 x 600 resouloution.

    Thanks.

new myself, i assume you have installed the correct video driver?

sounds like its using the default driver windows is selected, there are a bunch of drivers you need to install and one of them is for the graphics card

they are downloadable from the acer website

Not that he has mentioned. The biggest problem was trying to find a serial key for XP Pro.

Its a little laggy, any idea's how i could speed it up from him? Im guessing the best option would be upgrade the RAM, but im not to confident in doing that.

dont know enough about them to suggest apart from memory, looking at the videos on you tube im not looking forward to doing that, but needs must.

seems the 8 gig ones suffer a bit running XP, but im sure there are tweaks that can be done.
