This zoom feature on the mousepad is driving me crazy, since I am always setting it off by mistake just by touching it with two fingers and dragging one finger slightly. I cant seem to stop doing this so I am wondeing if there is any way to disable this feature which is becoming a serious problem, thanks Steve

The other problem I am still having with the trackpad is how the page keeps scrolling down when I simply try moving the mouse from the right to the left of the page. I tried disabling virtual and horizontal scrolling but that didnt help.

Go back once again to the same settings under
Control Panel - Mouse - Device Settings - Settings - Under Virtual Scrolling - Long Distance Scrolling - Untick Enable Coasting

I think you need to download the latest Synaptics Touch Pad Drivers and install them from the download link or directly from the acer website. That will solve your touchpad problems. Here's the link for all the drivers for XP - ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/notebook/a ... 50/driver/

Again I am still unable to unclick the enable coasting box since it is a shaded box with a checkmark inside,so it isnt clickable. I really dont like the coasting feature at all,so I hope somebody out there can help!
