DeSmuME - is the AAO fast enough?

    I am looking at emulators (see recent post re VBA) and have tried DeSmuME on my Ubuntu 9.04 AAO (ZG5). It ran but much too slowly to be usable.

    Has anyone else got DeSmuME running well? If so, which OS did you use and did you need to tweak anything to get it to work?
