Dell XPS 15 i7 vs MSI Ghost Pro GS60

    Upgrading my 3 yr old Asus N56VZ. I use it for Unity 3D, MODO, Maya, TouchDesigner and Davinci Resolve. I've already ordered the Dell but may return since I really want a 15.6" machine with a G970m GPU. The Dell has a G960M.

    Can anyone reading this possibly suggest something about either machine that might help me decide?

    The 970M is going to be quite a bit bump up over the 960. Even the dells alienware 13's come with at least the 965 ( slight upgrade ), the 960 is still quite capable though, even more so for what you're wanting to do. The only problem is going to be doing a return to dell. they take FOREVER to actually get you back the money you paid to them. If you're down with that, and the cost isn't nominal, i'd go with the 970 if possible.
