Dell laptop turns on, no picture, turns off

    Hello

    I have a dell e5470 laptop. Power light comes on, no screen picture, after 30 seconds fan spins then the laptop turns off.

    I have tried removing the cmos battery and have tried other ram sticks .

    I had the same fault on my dell xps laptop. I tried the cmos fix and put more paste on the processor. Still the same.

    What is causing it? Thankyou
