Your screencap didnt post the price... but anyhow linux-to-linux comparison and the xp-to-xp comparison both work out to about $80-90+ more for the Dell.

$25 more if you want white!

One other thing: battery life. The laptopmag review haven't got the right numbers, since they say 2h runtime for the A110L and 2h20min for the 150X, when whatever the usage the XP version has less. For a 32Wh Dell against the 22Wh Aspires, though you can expect to get another hour or more from the mini inspiron compared to either of the Acers.

    Update on the fanless part:

    http://www.anandtech.com/mobile/showdoc ... =3399&p=10

The mini 9 is indeed without a fan. :) It has a nice heat spreader to try and assist the dissipation. Nice touch.

Also the anandtech review does show the Dell to be quie nicely built overall. Though everything looks to be undone by the keyboard.

(Objectivity alert: no comparison with Aspire One... in fact most of the reviews bend over backwards to avoid mentioning the Acer or at least making a driect comparison. Hmmm....)

    I'm happy I didn't wait it out ;)

Maybe one plus for Dell is that it might not have the black screen bug

People that want a NetBook, dont want a laptop.
Well if they do, they shouldnt be buying a NetBook, there really shouldnt be the comparison.
