Deleting programs

    How do I delete a program I installed using the add/remove application in the advanced desktop menu? I downloaded DigiKam and now want to delete the package. Do I just go back and uncheck the boxes in Package Manager for that package?

    Go to add/install then "search" for the packages. The box will check red then click "apply" I have noticed that this process doesn't clean up after itself very well so try to avoid doing it too often. I just did a recovery to get 3 gig back!

    Thanks, I kind of thought that might be how it was done, but I wanted to be sure. I'm a bit leery about doing anything which might cause a system crash.
