deleting business account

I recieved a microsoft surface laptop 3 for work a year ago and since I left 2 months ago and they hace not asked for the laptop back. I woud like to remove the work account. I can not log in anymore since my login has been deleted. So I guess my best bet is to reinstall the laptop. I can press shift and power bottom to reinstal. I don't have a bitlocker key and I can only find a .msi file online but it says the location doesn't have info about your hardware. Does anybody know how to do this?
