Delay or disconnect?

After recovering my netbook there is this odd delay when you open a program you lose the ability to click the links or buttons, doesn't sense the mouse over, until I ctrl alt delete and bring up the task manager then the mouse over works again.

I am not sure if the mouse is causing the problem but the built in mouse and pointing device does the same thing. You can move the pointer around but no mouse over connectivity, it comes back but not without long delay.

Very strange anybody else come across this? Please help thank you.

 

Well for those that look at this it appears after loading the logitech driver for the mouse it seems to be working, I also reloaded the keyboard mouse driver as well, so far so good. Had to go to logitech for the mouse driver not part of the recovery I guess...
