    hi guys

i've installed a nice quick cut down version of XP Pro, the netbook fires up nicely

i'm at the stage or installing drivers, but acer has multiple drivers for the same netbook listed on their site

and their own SATA driver comes up saying that the system doesn't meet the requirements for an install?

anyone managed to find all the correct drivers through acer? or is there a better way?

    cheers

    Marty

They have listed different ones because some models slightly vary. Download all of and install them through Device Manager so you don't install the wrong ones. :)

I've never had to install any SATA drivers...Aren't they only needed if you're running the hard drive in AHCI/RAID mode? At any rate, you can try and use nLite to slipstream the drivers in, and it'll just install what it needs.
