    hi all,
    excuse my poor english
i have an acer aspire one d250, with it's zindows xp

i'm sorry for posting another black screen discussion, but it's because i don't find a solution.

when i turn my acer aspire one d250, screen is black, only power led
i flashed my bios with this method (for the d250)
    http://macles.blogspot.com/p/crisis.html

    then pc turn on normaly.

    BUT
the PC displays the black screen randomly and anytime

to resolve the black screen i found 3ways:
-turn off the pc, and turn-on it again, sometimes the pc work, somtimes not.
    -flashing the bios
-remove and replace the RAM berette.

for exemple, only this day i got more then 10 black screen.

i tried an external screen, but no think.
i tried 1.06, 1.07, 1.22 and 1.27 bios downloaded from acer website fot the d250, but nothing i always have the problem.

    So what is the problem?

    thank you

Might not solve your problem, but my D250 is currently sitting on BIOS version 1.26 and can safely say I haven't had a problem since upgrading.

You mention that removing an reinserting the RAM fixes the problem, is this the original stock RAM? or have you upgraded? What size, speed and brand is it?

    Hi,
I not my real problem is that i have a lot of black screen. removing ram, is just a temporary solution because the pc work after that. but after random time, i wil for sure have another black screen.

My ram, is original stock, it's 1gb and 666mhz.
I i tried to use another 1gb ram 666mhz (this one work 100%), but i got a black screen after just 20min of using it.

Okay, so considering you're using the stock RAM, have used virtually all available BIOS versions, I'd suspect that it would be some major fault in the motherboard. I'd suggest sending it back to Acer for warranty repair/replacement. Just make sure you back up all your files and information first.

i send it back for Acer for 3 times.
The first one: after two weeks, they told me they changed the motherboard. I worked with 30min, and black screen.
The second one: after two weeks, they told me that it was a RAM problem. but black screen even before I get it.
The third: I was at the store, the pc worked. but I preferred to let them test it again four days. After that, I went back and they said they updated the bios.

The ram has not been changed, and I do not think they changed the motherboard.

beginning of next week I'll take the PC to the store

    on my new Acer
This morning I turned on and it worked, loading the windows, the picture became dark (not black screen), and after a few seconds, the blue vertical bands appeared, one second after the screen Black appeared.

I shut off, I turned on after.
and it works without problems for 12 hours (during 12 hours, several times I turned on and off)

I hope it will continue like that, because I have not had time to enjoy

there there 's two days I get my pc service after sale.
résultats: the mr told me that the motherboard has been changed. (He had already said that)

    I conducted a small check:
    - MAC address of LAN card has changed
    - MAC address of wlan card

AC is two days, no blue screen
(The current version of the bios 1.08)
I still tested to see if I remade not once black screen
