I thought many people would be interested to know that many credit cards offer free extended warranty on products like the acer aspire one, i bought mine today and called my credit card company to check after reading it online, they doubled the manufacture warranty so now i have 2 years, and also mine and so do many others give you 90 day accident warranty which is nice :)

What company are you with as I may be changing card company? Mine has just sent me a letter saying that they have published a variation in terms and purchases are no longer insured! I need to check if thats all purchases and not just internet purchases, but it sounds bad to me!
Your's sounds like a company to deal with.

It's Nationwide who offer that facility. I got my Aspire One from John Lewis who give two years warranty anyway.
