Could everyone with a white acer check their cover!!

ive gotten sourced that on the top of the acers the cover, in the middle their is a DENT by manufacter, please check and its available please confirm to me here so i can return mine@!

i think what they meant by it is that it wasnt cause by you or them but it was a dent that happened when it was being manufactured... it might have skip the QC process... sometimes that happens.

i have this same crease in my blue 120gig hd model about 2" from back right across you can only really see it in the sunlight but its there

Quite possibly there is an internal hinge support along that there than impresses a slight crease on the external plastic shell of the lid.

If its only something you see under just the right light I wouldn't get too upset, it'll be likely visitble on all A1s, its just some people look harder for these things than others...

Well there's certainly no crease on mine. I can't even feel it with my finger, the surface is absolutely sleek.

Mine has !

a long crease in the middle, but not able to feel. maybe underneath the skin surface.
not deep, but visible when reflected to light!

I thought i was so unlucky, and stupid not to check carefully first!

You're right! Now i can see it on mine too. It's impossible to spot if you don't look extremely carefully so i don't think it matters to me, it's just bad that I saw it once so that I now know it's there. :shock:

I have looked with a magnifying glas under extreme bright light condition (150w lamp) and found zero (0) dents, whatever.

I posted a picture last night and asked if the OP could point out the "dent" on the picture. No reply so far so I guess this is pure BS because my unit has no dents and no unit in my local computer store has it either.
