Could be 3G Slot for another thing? like BT?

Anyone knows that the back cover is for a mini-pci 3g module, but couldnt we put another thing like bluetooth module? is it posssible?

You can put what you want in there, but is is meant for the 3G modem.
Search for the thread about internal usb hub.

New to the site, but looking at the UMPC and I like the ACER. If this little device fits then I am sold. (got one on order Amazon)

Called ACER Uk today and asked about it and he said that the 3G model would be released at Christmas. Did he mean it would ship with this installed?

He also said that all UK models would ship with a 3 cell battery.

Most people have been reporting that the slot is missing the Mini-PCI connector, so you'll have your work cut out if you want to use it, in theory it would be possible to solder your own connector in, but it's certainly not something I would attempt.

I believe the wireless card is in a Mini-PCI slot, so if you were willing to remove that you could put something else there.

The other option is just to use the space of the slot to house a USB device which you connect up internally.
