Confusing model numbers

    How are these model numbers generated? It seems like there are numerous models with the same specs with different numbers. Is this because of the color of the machine?

    Also, why is this model classified as a special order? Is this an old model or a new one not announced yet? Its not even mentioned on the Acer website.

    I dont know how this number is generated, but it seens to be according to the color.

    The mine is AOA 110-1564
    (Sapphire Blue, portuguese keyboard, 512RAM, 8GB SSD)

    AOA 110-1295
    (Seashell White, 512RAM, 8GB SSD)
