If it is just 2 months old then I would return it.

Could you give more information about it freezing? I mean is it freezing at bootup or while running software? What system are you using? When did it start freezing?

Test if its hardware or software related. Boot the computer into the BIOS screen (turn it on and tap F2 'till the BIOS screen comes up), leave it there for an hour or so (or as long as it usually takes for the computer to freeze). If it freezes in the BIOS screen you have major issues and really, really need to get it back to Acer for warranty repair.

If it doesn't freeze under the BIOS then chances are it's not a major issue. Try booting a "live" linux distro and see if the computer is fully functional under linux. - Search the forums or google for help setting up a Live distro, if you have a USB CD/DVD drive lying around it'll be easier to use that.

If it doesn't freeze under linux, boot back into windows and disable un-necessary hardware items in the device manager, like the Webcam, USB ports, USB hubs etc and see if you can identify any particular piece of hardware that's causing the freeze.
