I am looking for a Linux based Accounting and Money tracking package suitable for running the accounts of a small club/society. There will not be a lot of transactions but hope fully I can get something like a budgeting system, and maybe forecasting. Income from the members, and tracking of purchases are the primary goals.

At the moment I have everything on a huge big spreadsheet, but it's getting a little complicated to handle now.

Try GnuCash - runs on Linux and Win XP, imports Quicken files.
