Closing the lid & going on standby

    Hi

    I'm sure someone has probably asked this before but I can't find the answer

    Every time I close the lid of the One it goes on standby. Is there any way I can stop this? I like to leave things downloading but whenever I leave it the damn thing goes on standby!

    can someone help?

    Linpus or XP? In XP just goto Control Panel, Power Options..... configure the close lid to "do nothing".

    And in linpus its in the power management options..
