Still looking for the best OS to put on the Aspire One to replace Linspire.
What about a 64bits OS such as (X)Ubuntu or OpenSUSE?!
I know it's not a supercalculator and won't take much benefit of the 64bit architecture but packages install faster and as it's in the box, why not use it?!
I've been using Ubuntu 7.04/7.10 64bits on Core2Duo for 1.5 years and it's been quite harsh at the beginning (Skype, Flash support, IceWeasel instead of Firefox and some other glitches), but getting better over the time and mature versions available now...
What do you think? Who tried it already?

Ok, my mistake, the Atom N270 in the Aspire One doesn't support EMT64 instructions, so it's impossible to do.
