I upgraded my RAM yesterday with a 667hz 5300 1GB stick and my computer started making a clicking noise when I booted it up. I later removed the RAM and the clicking stopped, but I of course tried and again and it didn't click - following putting it all back together again (A few times) the clicking would occur even without the RAM present. To fix the problem I have disconnected my speakers from the Motherboard. I can use headphones without any problem. Any ideas? I don't particularly like having the speakers disconnected. Thank you.

It is a continuous click. When the system is fully booted, the screen also flickers slightly, maybe from the power draw of clicking the speakers?
