First post here. Thought I'd give it a try as another forum left me hanging and I'm still no further forward on what type of flexi cable I need. I made the foolish mistake of throwing the old cables away thinking I wouldn't need them now. More fool me. Should have kept them as a reference. Basically, I bought a number of replacement flexi cables off Amazon, but one (or maybe both) aren't right for the trackpad. It prevents the laptop from booting properly. I'm not 100% sure on what size or pitch I need. I only know one is 6 pins and the other is 4. I have some pics of the back of the motherboard, the connections on the board, the connections on the underside of the keyboard, and the connectors I've been trying.
