Just wanted to let everyone know, it looks like circuit city stores got shipments of the AOA101-1722 model ($379 linux one). Not available online, however it looks like a lot of stores got 2 units today. If you search for it on their website, you can find availability.

One thing to note, the one I got has the PAMM0008 flash and a 2200mAh battery.

...seriously? That's the first report I've heard of a blue 8GB Linux unit in North America. Guess I'll be browsing the local store tonight. :)

I can also confirm that here in Georgia (U.S) that Circuit City has the blue 8GB model in stock
and they actually had an open box for sale for $339. The sales guy was kind enough to pull
it out and let me type on it. it's really a nice machine, quite light. Typing on it was an
enjoyable experience. i was so excited, I almost took it home (but i have a preorder with J&R
    for the A150).

We only have the blue ones in local CCs in WA.

I got a blue one a couple of weeks ago at Circuit City. It was $379.99 tax-free because I got it during the state's sales tax holiday. It has the slower of the 2 available solid state disks (Intel) and a 2,200 mAh battery, the smaller of the 2 available batteries (Mine gets a little over 2 hours with wi-fi on). If you like to look at your fingerprints or spend time wiping them off, I recommend the blue. I wish I had got a white one.
