My Acer, Aspire one has less than 100 hours, just tried to start up and got the following messages:
    Check cable connection..!
    PXE-MOF: Exiting Intel PXE ROM.
No bootable device-- insert boot disk and press any key

    Any help is appreciated.

Until someone pipes in...I searched the net and found...

    1. Hit F2 while boot...
    2. Check the status of the hard drive (enabled or disabled)...
    3. Check Boot order...
    4. Make sure you are booting from a Network...

Step 4 is wrong, you don't wont to boot from a network drive.

Sounds like hdd failure, either the disk itself, or the controller.
