Changed the new lcd, But not working? Help!!

Hello, We damaged the lcd screen, bought a new one off ebay. However after taking time and patience to change to the new lcd screen, it is completely blank (not powered). Took apart again to check if I missed anything, But all seemed connected. Could it be the new screen is bad, Or maybe have I missed something else?

Well I had a brainwave, replace my old broken screen back in, to see if it was actually the new screen that had a fault.. Guess what my old screen came back on straight away. Even though it has a wacking great crack on it, At least I now know the new screen bought on ebay and shipped from China taipei is a dud. And guess who has to pay for shipping for it to returned? Yep me, wait to weeks for it to be sent back and another couple of weeks for a replacement screen.. what a rip off..

Oh well gonna see if I can find a UK based seller this time..
