I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me change the system dictionary to English.

Explanation of what I'm trying to do:

When I'm typing something, such as this post, the red dotted line shows up under almost every word, indicating a spelling error. I'm assuming it's the system dictionary that's set to the wrong language, but I can't figure out how to change it, and these dotted lines are driving me crazy!

Thanks for any advice that helps solve the problem!

You don't say what OS you are using or what program you are running. Giving this information would help.
