    EDIT:
This thread was formerly known as "Check out this tasty case mod. It's Iron Man." But I think that name is no longer appropriate.

This looks totally awesome aside from that ugly head.
I'd love to stash that in my room where no-one can see it again.

I think case mod kits would sell great for the One.
If someone ported the II-Hot Rock Case for WII
    I'd get it right away.

The II-Hot Rock Case for WII is a case for Wii by Team XTender that has a clear case and an internal glow that cycles through color based on CPU temperatures. I think it goes from Blue(Coldest) to red(Hottest)
It has a built in digital LED thermometer.

Who else thinks Case mods would sell good for the One?
That quote was too good not to quote.

For the past 3 years I've been thinking of making a refrigerated computer case / beer cooler type of deal. It looks like a real computer, will have a working CD drive but inside it's insulated and has stuff in it.

3 Years? That's a bit long for a case mod. Hope it works out. I wish you luck.

    Is this it?

    I've heard about similar projects.

Yeah. Never got around to it :? I have an old 12vdc car cooler that I dont use.

The only real problem I have is the power supply. It has to draw air from somewhere not sure if I can have it sucking from the outside of the case. That and after a flood, the only old computer I have is 10 years old and still running. I don't want to kill a running computer. Going to see if I can get a free case or something from a friend.

I am making a PC case out of a small refridge. It will only turn on when the PC is on and will also have desiccant to help keep condensation in check. Below are pics, the first is with out the LCD info panel, the second is (along with my old car audio). the last pic is of what my PC looks like now :D

The heatsink is a Zalman 9700 and it is large. It is not too terribly loud. In fact when playing games the GTX280 is louder. I did have to bend the memory heat pipes to fit the Zalman lol. I have a Phenom 9850 OC'ed to 3.2ghz. I learned long ago that even if you do not OC, keeping things cool can keep a system running at it's peek and smooth. I built an entire water cooled system once out of copper pipe, silicone hose and a tupperware container for the coolant. I drilled out a copper heatsink and added the pipes. This was on an old Athlon system with AGP. It looked freakin cool though. If I find pics I will post them up.
