I haven't been able to get the right side card reader to recognize my sd card. I put it in and nothing happens

It recognizes it in the left side however. Also the card is recognized in another linux computer I have (eeepc).

I've been reading forum posts but am new to linux and am not sure what to do.
What do I need to type in the terminal to fix this?

    Hi knadd

The files on the card in either the LH or RH slot show up in File System under /media/disk.
You should also see the SD/MMC Drive in the File Manager LH side Pane if you click View then Side Pane and then tick Tree.
If it is seen and accessible in the LH slot it should be in the RH slot unless there is a fault on your netbook.

    Best wishes
