Hello everyone and happy holidays. I've looked everywhere and can't find a way to use the 1680x1050 resolution of my external dell 2005 fpw monitor. any tips? any links? i wasted way too much time on this with no results.. i saw something like a guide using moninfo, but cant find the full guide to mod the driver .inf file. let alone moninfo doesnt properly show the edid info of my dell monitor...

    HELP!

This can be answered by any computer shop. Starting from 1m - I have one of those - up to 9m I believe. Above some length VGA loosing signal quality AFAIK. Obviously everything depends on cable quality. VGA cable integrated with LCD screens are about 1,5m long.

i had this problem when i used a 5m cable once (a cheap one) (dont know if it makes a difference to more expensive ones) but it only let me use 1600x1200 but not 1680x1050, but when i used a 1.5m one it did let me..

    so..how long?
