I have a macbook with a pretty large iTunes library, however, how do I access the actual music files? I want to pull my entire library off of it and move it to an external drive, but when I try to move any files from the mac over to an external drive, it doesn't let me drag/drop them over?

I'm looking to put my iTunes library over on a Windows PC as my macbook is 7 years old now and it's on it's last legs.

To find the files in Finder:

Go to your home folder; in it there should be a "Music" folder. In there is an "iTunes" folder; in that is "iTunes Media", and in that is "Music", where you will see folders with artist names on them. These are your mp3 files. [IMG]

    Hope this helps!
