My dad just brought me an Asp1 from Canada and on startup i accidentally chose French XP over English XP. I restored to factory settings but it's still in french. Is it possible to revert to English?

    Code:
    sudo oobe

Ack - my bad. I am too used to linux users asking this ;)

I have no idea how XP was set up - if one cannot select a language from the configuration screen I fear a complete reinstall is the only solution :(

I ordered one from Canada that has not arrived yet. Just to be clear, they ONLY reason it was in French was because you accidentally chose French as your language when you installed XP correct? It wasnt in French by default right? Thx

On first boot, you have to select the language. Unselected language files are deleted from the recovery partition, meaning you CAN'T GO BACK. Sorry. The only way was to create a full backup BEFORE choosing the language...

You will have to find a image of the AA1, download it and restore everything.
