Because of the terrible performance of the SSD, can consumer action groups just put pressure on Acer to replace the lousy SSD cards with good ones? I am really tired of spending time and money trying to get this issue fixed, not to mention the time lost....

    Just a thought....

I doubt acer will replace the SSD in your AAO. The SSD is fast enough for what it's suppose to do (internet, e-mail, IM in acer's linux environmnet) thus there's no reason for Acer to replace the perfectly working SSD.

I keep seeing AAOs at Fry's with 8GB SSD + Windows XP Home so, unless they are using higher performing SSDs on the Windows builds, the "they are intended to be enough for Linux so XP performance diesn't matter" claims are bunk.
