    Hey guys;

    I have seen all the SATA soldering options here for getting a 2.5in SATA drive in an aspire one to replace the rubbish 8gb SSD that they came with, thing is i dont really fancy soldering my motherboard if i can help it.

    I was wondering if i might get away with using a zif to SATA adapter like this one;

    http://www.bestofferbuy.com/1.8'-ZIF-to ... n=gbase_uk

    Reason i ask is i have an old 2.5in slim HDD out of my PS3 going spare and now seems a good time to get it in my aspire one.

    Thanks for any help folkes,

    Andy
