can i stop bootup info message windows ?

    Hi every time i boot up linpus i get the tedious messae boxes telling me my update was successfull and how much space i have left. Then i get more tedious boxes telling me i now have a wifi connection.

    I dont want this timewasting nonsense everytime i set to work. Can i set preferences to stop these info boxes from appearing ?
