I need a clam that can run beefy apps(photoshop, illustrator, indesign) simultainiously and has a nice charge life. This is gonna take over as my life compainion for the next couple years, so I'd very much like nice display and audio. SSD is a must! Hybrid is alright. Needs to be somewhat lightweight as I will be toting it everywhere. Primary uses are: graphics and webbing(ruby, php, java etc.) So, something in the 14" neighborhood would be a good fit. Ideas??

    Welcome to the forum :).

Just a couple of questions - do you have a budget in mind? Do you need it to be touch-screen or anything like that?

I really like the look of the Asus Zenbooks - this one looks about the right sort of specs for you and it ultra-portable :):
