OK, I created my memory stick from the DVD using my win xp cd, all seemed to work ok, and it didn't mess up my XP pc or give me an 'error 39' etc.

So, today I get my card reader (found it eventually) and plug it in to the AA1, hitting F12 on boot I find the USB drive which has the recovery stuff on it.

I boot and it begins to load it, however, after not very long I get the error pictured below:

How can I sort this?! - At present it means I can't even recover, so basically if I can't get this to work it's gonna have to go back to Acer :/
