Yep I get them also sometimes... and sometimes the PC just goes black and reboots, sometimes it shuts down the wifi.. It's good fun and nobody seems able to help.

I'm just going to break down and get rid of the atheros crap and get a good card.

I only get bsods when im doing large amounts of downloading, i assume it must be a bug in the wifi driver, seeing as you get bsods using the wifi also

The 4965AGM fixed all of my issues in both Windows Beta 7 and Linux Ubuntu 8.10 stock kernel. Light works, wifi works, transfers large files without issue, wakes up from sleep, etc., not a single wifi related issue now.

i got the 4965AGM installed and it works... no more bsods on file transfers or wireless hiccups. Seems like a lame way out though since not everyone can go out and change the wifi card in their machines. Hopefully MS/acer/atheros will release a new driver that fixes the issues

Are there any updates on this issue? I'm not comfortable swapping out my wireless card and realyy I shouldn't have to.

There are no updates to this issue currently.. the only fix is going to be new drivers or replacing the card (which i have just done)
