boot from usb

I am having issues booting from a USB stick, I ran puppy on my desktop and made a bootable usb stick, I plug it into my one and set the boot priority properly, when it attempts to boot all I get is "no operating system found", before it boots into linpus. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Not all usb sticks will boot in a One.
