BLUE SCREEN WITH WHITE CROSS

    I have a Aspire One running linux, I went into Add / Remove option and changed a setting ( thought it would change screen layout ) now i have a blue screen with white cross and cannot get into anything, any advice to restore back to normal will be appreciated.
