Blue or White?

Simple, which colour Aspire One do you want?

Has anyone seen both in the flesh yet and can comment? Does the white SKU gather fingerprints etc...?

I tried both, and chose white, it's more clean (for me, of course!).

the white DOES collect finger prints, but I suspect the blue would do it even moreso. The worst place for fingerprints are on the black bezel surrounding the display. The fingerprints don't really show on the white too much, but on the black bezel, they really stand out.

I'm seriously considering taking some 800 grit snadpaper to the whole thing for a more satin finish. The plastic on the bottom side of the unti it awesome and shows no fingerprints at all. I wish the whole unit was the textured plastic.

the blue one has black keys which is very hard on the eyes on dim lights plus it looks plastic on the inside so i chose white.

The overall look of it was more... spiffy, i guess. :]
by the way... i noticed that blue is winning, yet only people who chose white are posting .-.

White- Nice colour, makes the pc look glossy (so does blue), and its very attractive. But, the white can be easily noticed from its stains and looks like a plastic toy, imo.

Blue- Seems cool, i personally like it for the black keyboard which makes the pc look like a toy, but it may be a fingerprint magnet.


EITHER WAY: Whichever one you get, it doesnt matter, their both beautiful color which are attractive and both are nice.

White gathers dirt much too quickly, especially on the keyboard. Three years with an ibook are enough. White is for fridges, not for computers Unfortunately the blue ones are sold out much quicker over here so I had to wait two extra weeks. Hopefully my AA1 arrives today or tomorrow.

I got myself the white One

Looks way better than the blue imo, I thought the blue looked a bit cheaper and more plastic-ish than the white.
The white does gather finger prints, because it has the sleek and shiny finish, but so does the blue one, and the blue shows the prints way worse than the white.

But the biggest reason was that the white is just so darn pretty

I chose white, three reasons: white is prettier , white shows fingerprints less than blue (tried in the shop) and the white keyboard is easier to see (especially in the dark).

I prefer BLUE.
I think white is the stamp of APPLE already.

At first I was going to go blue full speed ahead. but after looking a lot of pictures, I personally just feel the white one is a bit cleaner in design. I'd like to get my hands on both in person to see for sure.

Wow, thanks for all the responses. It seems like a 50-50 spread really.

I got my blue model yesterday and i'm super happy with it!
