Blu-Ray

    Hi, installed Windows 8 on my Acer 6930G now Blu-ray doesn't work. Any ideas

    North of the Watford Gap ,UK
    Goto My Computer ,right click on the drive ,Click on properties ,choose the Hardware Tab should see the model number there.


    Look on the internet for a driver for windows 7 then when downloaded ,right click on the file
    and choose the compatibility option,this should work.

    Another thing to try is to go to search (top right) in settings
    type device manager the click it on.


    You will see the icon for dvd/cd drives right click.


    Two things to try here, try update driver software,or uninstall driver
    then restart.
