Is it possible to disable the blinking traffic LED effect for WIFI?
What I really want is for the LED to remain static orange when in use and off when turned off. I don't really like the blinking effect.

Guys. That's the way it works. Solid LED when card is just switched ON, blinking when exchanging data. The left one is for 3G build-in modem - in version w/o modem this LED is not active as there is not enough room to slide switch to left...

It's a Windows thing, Linux Linpus keeps the light on all the time.
Surely there's a way of disabling it as a traffic monitor...?

    Hey Jimmy Boy...

If you don't like the blinking light, put a piece of black tape over it. I can't believe you're even raising this issue as a person's hands cover the light when typing. If you don't like the "tape" solution, maybe you should check out of this forum and load Linux. Oh, wait a minute. I think I get it. You're afraid that some flight attendant is going to bust you for running WiFi inflight. Personally, I like the light blinking.

It's obviously not only me that has a problem with it judging by this thread and my hands don't cover the keyboard when web browsing, I use a mini-mouse.
