Blank screen but cursor shown and moves

    Help!!!!

    I have an Acer Aspire One with Linux. The machine boots past the startup screen, then the light blue screen, then it goes black and just the cursor is shown (which moves if you move the pad) but nothing else boots. Any ideas????
