    AAAAA!!!!!

I just upgraded to bios 3309 on my 150. I used the windows based bios flasher that comes with 3309 from Acer's website.

Problem is now, when i try and boot into Windows XP, the fan kicks into full speed and the power will cut out with in 10 to 30 seconds of switching on.

Thing is, it boots fine under windows 7...

    Consider downgrading the BIOS.

v3114 works fine for me for both XP Home SP3 and Windows 7 Ultimate beta.

Do you have installed aspire one fan control or a1ctl? If this is the case, disable it.

I had the same problem after upgrading, and disabling aspire one fan control, the problems disappeared. (I tried to install a1ctl, and the problem also appeared again).

The problem now, is that no fan control software is working right for me.

    Regards.
