Hi I hope somebody can help me. I Had the great idea of update my BIOS, I had the 3301 version and update to 3309, I didnt really have problems with my AA1, I thought this could fix the problem when I close the cover, sometimes the AA1 dont come back when I open the cover. So I used unetbootin and FreeDOS went to 3309 the boot was ok. the next day I noticed the winxp startup took 5 minutes, the startup sound jammed and scratch, all was slow. I didnt have a backup BIOS file so I downgrade to 3308, then to 3305, and then to 3304 all were the same just with a different variations in time, 12 minutes after I turn it on I can use the AA1 but when I try to listen music everytime sounds like a scratch cd, so i cant listen music  is very, very, very annoying.
I thought it was the way I flashed the BIOS so I did it again using Winflash and using one 3301 BIOS file (original) that "hansbehrends" (Forum member) gave me. After this the everything takes 7 minutes and the music still have the scratch issue just not so often, what its going on???????

one curious thing is that in the info labels of the box say BIOS 3305 but when I update the BIOS was 3301

Reflash your bios to the newest version. Change the HDD's access mode from PIO back to DMA in device manager.

Keep the bios if you want, but just take note that bios v.3301 have a bios corruption bug. The bug is patched in later version of bios updates.
