BIOS update increases write speed?

    A BIOS update supposedly improves the One's write speed to 15MBps.

    I will try this update and see if there is a significant increase in write speed. I'll first get benchmarking software so I can throughly compare read and write differences. Any suggestions?

    I put this in the Windows section as the SSD issue affects it the most and that most reputable benchmarking software are run on XP. :)

    Anyway I was very skeptical about the bios making the SSD go faster but I did the test anyway.

    Here it is below in the pics.

    As you can see the bios makes no difference at all.

    Yea actually looking closely it does look like negative a bit.

    So my next question is....

    Does any1 have the original bios???

    No differences here either. Should've read the changelog instead. :lol:

    ATTO numbers from above do show a slower rate. :(

    hey, what ssd you guys have. these seem pretty better then my intel ssd.
    maybe the bios only help intel ssd and not samsung?
