Well the WinFlash utility didn't work for me. Flashed 3305 Bios with it During shutdown Fan started to spin at fill speed sounding like a vacuumcleaner. After turning the One back on the same horrible fan speeding and after 30 seconds it turned itself off. Flashing the 3305 Bios in DOS there after worked fine.

Had the same problem as Blinky.

Now I'm trying to flash it again by using Dos utility.

I wouldn't use a windows based utility to flash a BIOS you'll end up with a borked Apsire One. They are notoriously unreliable.

tested on my machine....no issues. Took a bit to shutdown before the reboot, but I just let it sit. Everything is good here. Fan control utility is working fine with 3305 as well just FYI

hello to all, this is my first post
i install new bios from this post and go in event viewer/sysetem to see what changes i have, before that i install one more appo on my acer one, app is from this forum and it's fan controller.ok in system event viewer i se this warning
    acpiec
\device\ACPIEC The embedded controller (EC) hardware returned data when none was requested. This may indicate that the BIOS is incorectly terying to access the EC without syncronizing with the OS. The data is being ignored.

so what that mean ? do i have to downgrade my bios wait for next update or do something else ?
    thanx

Winflash and Bios 3305 worked like a charm!
Installed XP on a AAO 110 with NTFS - very slow - SSD drive running for ever. :(
Changed to FAT32 and reinstalled - much better! :)

Both the 3305 BIOS and the Winflash utility worked flawlessly for me. :D Just copied the fd image file to the winflash dir and ran the insydeflash exe.
