My friend has a laptop and its his only computer or device. He did a reset to factory settings and lost his wifi. He can't hardware, though. Does anyone have any input about how to get his wifi back?

You will need to list the make, and operating system of his computer.

He needs to check if the wifi drivers have been installed correctly. It could be the reset was without them.
Or it could simply be that he needs to put in the password for the wifi he wants to connect to. This is typically on the router and is something he needs to know.

Can his machine actually see any wifi networks?
And as above, if it can not, what is the make and model of the machine in question and what operating system (Windows version) is it running?
