    I'm wanting WiFi on my D250 with OS X, but I don't know which WiFi card is the best. I've seen the DW1390, DW1395, DW1490 and the DW1500. There are so many and so little information about them all. Does anyone have an opinion on which is the best? Thanks.

    Those cards are recommended because they are natively supported under OS X (I believe the 1390 used to be used in MacBook Pro's). They will all work fine, drill in to the technical specs if you want, but unless one supports N or something then they'll all work the same.

    For the D250, you'll need a half-height mini PCI-E card, such as the DW 1510 (search on e-bay for BCM94322). I've just fitted one to my D250, and works fine. It's also a 802.11 a/b/g/n capable card, so a bit of an upgrade on the standard card.

    The DW 1390, which fits the AOA150, is a full size card, and won't fit.

    Are there any D250-specific guides available for upgrading? I don't know whether I open it up by removing the keyboard or use one of the slots on the bottom. Thanks.

    Dissamebling procedure for the D250 is here ;

    Note that there are 3 screws to remove underneath the battery that the article doesn't mention, otherwise the top keyboard surround will not come off :)

    The wi-fi card is right at the front edge on the right hand side. One screw to remove, and the card will pop-up from the slot. Disconnect the 2 antenna cables, and replace with the new card, re-connect, and re-assemble.
