    GBPVR is free and simple. It uses a windows service for recording and a .net program for playback, pictures, music etc.
    It runs happily as a playback client on my 'one'

    I love XBMC on mine, and with it's plugin architecture it can only get better. The best bit about it for me is all the codecs you require for watching the majority of movie files are built in, saving you to install them manually and clog up your system.

    How did you configure it to work on the ACER ONE? I could not get it running, I would love to have the XBMC!

    I use MediaPortal on my HTPC and that works well.

    On the netbook for DTV I use BlazeTV.

    Well I have tried a lot of different TV softwares over the last couple of days and was about to give up on getting TV working well on the AAO.

    These are ones I tried;

    Totalmedia3.5
    SageTV
    Aver MediaCenter
    Windows 7 Media center
    Pinnacle TVcenter Pro
    J.Rivers Media Center
    Chris TV
    BlazeDTV 3.5

    But this one wins by CPU useage and video quailty;
    WatchHDTV
    I believe it is perfect for an underpowered netbook without hardware acceleration.
